Caitlin Kile was living a normal college life full of parties and early morning classes. Living with her best friend and enjoying her senior year, Caitlin’s life seemed idyllic. Until her neighbor’s cousin, Simon Crewe, transferred to her school, unbalancing her tightly controlled life. Because control was one thing Caitlin desperately needed.
Simon was instantly attracted to Caitlin, but he couldn’t seem to get past her guarded walls. Caitlin wasn’t planning on competing with all the groupies clamoring for Simon’s attention ever since he became the lead singer of a popular band. But despite Caitlin’s refusal to show any interest in him, Simon couldn’t seem to shake his attraction to her.
But Simon didn’t know everything about Caitlin. He didn’t know about the images of death that haunted her while she was awake. Or the gripping terrors that plagued her at night.
And Simon couldn’t possibly know that those terrors were determined to destroy him.
Happy Mother’s Day!

Finally! I apologize that it took longer than I anticipated, but Hunting Shadows is finally available at Barnes & Noble here. I’ll post another update as soon as it’s available on Kobo and iBooks. Happy reading!
Surprise! One day early! Hunting Shadows is now available on Amazon here and Smashwords here. It’s also available on Barnes and Noble here.
iBooks always takes a bit longer (normally a week), so I’ll be sure to post a separate update once it’s available there.
Below is the synopsis. Warning that there are spoilers in the description if you haven’t read Seeing Shadows (Book 1) or Chasing Shadows (Book 2).
Caitlin Kile has been through hell and back. The war between seers and vardogers is only just beginning yet she’s already suffered unimaginable losses. Revenge is the only thing fueling her to fight back, but what she doesn’t realize is that she still has so much more to lose.
Good and evil will battle for human souls and Caitlin must draw the line between her enemies and allies. Putting her trust in the right person will determine her victory or her death.
I hope you all enjoy it! Just a note that Hunting Shadows is the final installment of the Shadow Series.
Thanks to everyone for their patience! The third and last installment of the Shadow Series, titled Hunting Shadows, is still slated to release on March 5th. I’ll post an update once it’s available for sale (iBooks always takes longer so it’ll probably be about a week later before it’s live there. I’ll be sure to post a separate update when it’s available for sale there.) I’m so excited to finally get this book to you all and hope you enjoy it!
Afterwards, I’ll be posting an update as to what my direction will be in my next adult contemporary romance. As always, thanks so much for your kind and encouraging words!
Thanks for everyone’s patience! The third, and last, installment of the Shadow Series (yet to be titled) will be releasing March 5th! Of course I’m still pushing to get it out earlier, but that’s my comfort date of when I know I’ll definitely be able to get it to you guys. Thanks for hanging in there!
Once I hand the manuscript over to be edited (late January), I’ll finally address whether or not I’ll be writing a sequel to Love Left Behind and/or Fated. I’ve been straddling the fence about it because I want to make sure there’s enough story to tell before making the decision to write a second book for either of them. My problem is there are always new characters rambling around in my head, demanding to be unleashed, and their grumblings are hard to ignore.
Hope everyone had a great holiday and Happy New Year!
Fated is finally available on iTunes! Yay! You can find it here.
Thanks so much to everyone who’s already read Fated! Your comments have been awesome, and it’s always so gratifying to hear feedback since it can be a little nerve-wracking sending your creation out into the world. As to whether there will be a sequel, I’m still in the midst of finishing the third installment of the Shadow Series, so I’m going to table any decisions about that (as well as whether there will be a sequel to Love Left Behind) until I’m done. Caitlin and Simon are getting pretty impatient and want me to hurry up and finish their story already!
- My new book, an adult contemporary romance, is slated to release early January 2013, with a chance of it releasing earlier. It’s called Fated and if you liked Love Left Behind, it’ll be right up your alley. The hero, Caden Riley, is hot, but in a different way than Jackson Reynard. Plus, I really love the heroine, Lauren Sloan. I’ll post the cover and description and all that junk when it’s ready.
- I’m knee-deep in the third and final installment of the Shadow Series right now, and boy these waters are treacherous! My own heart has raced a few times, and that’s with me knowing what’s going to happen! I still don’t have an exact release date except early 2013, but I’m pushing, pushing, pushing to get it done as soon as possible.
- If you’ve read some of my posts here, you’ll realize that I’m obsessed with food. My latest obsession, after my trip to New Orleans, is trying to recreate the muffaletta. The one at Central Grocery was a doozy, and I’m up to my elbows in olive salad as I try to perfect my recipe to mimic theirs.
- Speaking about food, Thanksgiving is right around the corner! It’s my #1 favorite holiday. Turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing…here I come!
