I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m working hard to get Chasing Shadows, book #2 in the Shadow Series, to you as soon as possible. It’s slated to release in November 2012, but there’s a chance that it may be earlier. When I say a chance, I mean I hope that by some miracle the editing process will magically become easier instead of it feeling like I’m hitting my head against the wall.
In the meantime, I encourage you to read my new contemporary romance, Love Left Behind. It’s a bit different from the Shadow series – and by different, I mean more explicit. That’s a good thing, right? Oh yeah, and it’s a regular romance with nothing that goes bump in the night. I mean, other things bump, but…you know what I mean.
Hope you enjoy!
I’m very excited to announce that my new adult contemporary romance, Love Left Behind, has been released! Emma Mills is an ordinary woman whose life is about to become extraordinary. I’ll let her tell you about it herself:
It’s not everyday that you get to move to New York City and reinvent yourself. I was tired of being boring, predictable Emma Mills. I was convinced that my life would be totally different in the Big Apple.
And I was right.
Jackson Reynard was irresistible and I had no plans on resisting him. Jackson was the epitome of tall, dark and handsome and I was more than happy to let him sweep me off my feet. I expected a summer fling but instead I got a heart-stopping romance. I realized that I had met the love of my life. I just didn’t realize that sometimes love isn’t enough.
It’s hard enough getting over an ex. It’s even harder when he becomes Hollywood’s next biggest heartthrob and his face is plastered on every magazine cover. But the hardest part? The hardest part is when he thrusts himself back into my life and won’t let go of the past.
I survived losing the man I loved the first time. I don’t think I’ll survive it again.
It’s currently available at Amazon here and at Barnes & Noble here.
Thanks to everyone that read Seeing Shadows! I’m hard at work on the second book in the series, Chasing Shadows, and hope to have it out by October or November 2012. I’ll update you when I have a firm date. In the meantime, I have a new book releasing in September. It’s a contemporary romance that’s considerably steamier than Seeing Shadows, for those who like that kind of thing.
It’s called Love Left Behind and explores what happens when an ordinary woman falls in love with the man of her dreams, only to be ripped apart by circumstance. It’s hard getting over an ex-boyfriend, but it’s even harder when that ex-boyfriend becomes Hollywood’s next biggest heartthrob. It’s harder still when he barges back into your life, determined to set things right.
I’ll let you know the actual date of release closer to the day.
