Thanks to everyone for their patience! The third and last installment of the Shadow Series, titled Hunting Shadows, is still slated to release on March 5th. I’ll post an update once it’s available for sale (iBooks always takes longer so it’ll probably be about a week later before it’s live there. I’ll be sure to post a separate update when it’s available for sale there.) I’m so excited to finally get this book to you all and hope you enjoy it!
Afterwards, I’ll be posting an update as to what my direction will be in my next adult contemporary romance. As always, thanks so much for your kind and encouraging words!
Thanks for everyone’s patience! The third, and last, installment of the Shadow Series (yet to be titled) will be releasing March 5th! Of course I’m still pushing to get it out earlier, but that’s my comfort date of when I know I’ll definitely be able to get it to you guys. Thanks for hanging in there!
Once I hand the manuscript over to be edited (late January), I’ll finally address whether or not I’ll be writing a sequel to Love Left Behind and/or Fated. I’ve been straddling the fence about it because I want to make sure there’s enough story to tell before making the decision to write a second book for either of them. My problem is there are always new characters rambling around in my head, demanding to be unleashed, and their grumblings are hard to ignore.
Hope everyone had a great holiday and Happy New Year!
Hope everyone had a great holiday! Today will be the last day Love Left Behind will be $1.99!

Happy New Year!
Santa said I should make Love Left Behind $1.99 for the holidays, and who am I to refuse Santa? For a limited time only! Happy Holidays!
Available on Amazon here and Barnes & Noble here.
Fated is finally available on iTunes! Yay! You can find it here.
Thanks so much to everyone who’s already read Fated! Your comments have been awesome, and it’s always so gratifying to hear feedback since it can be a little nerve-wracking sending your creation out into the world. As to whether there will be a sequel, I’m still in the midst of finishing the third installment of the Shadow Series, so I’m going to table any decisions about that (as well as whether there will be a sequel to Love Left Behind) until I’m done. Caitlin and Simon are getting pretty impatient and want me to hurry up and finish their story already!
Fated is finally live on Barnes & Noble! (I’m trying to ignore the fact that they’re missing the description of the book. I’m hoping it’ll eventually appear!) You can find it here.
It’s also live on Smashwords here. I’ll post an update once it’s available on iTunes.
Fated is now available on Amazon here!
For UK Amazon readers, it’s available here!
Sorry Nook readers – Barnes & Noble keeps telling me that they’re having technical difficulties when I attempt to upload the book. I keep getting the message to try again later, which makes me a little crazy! I’ll post an update when it’s finally available there.
I hope you enjoy it!
I’m excited to announce that my new contemporary romance Fated will be releasing earlier than expected on December 6th…that’s next week! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it! I fell in love with my protagonists, Lauren Sloan and Caden Riley. I’ll post an update as soon as it’s live. Below is the blurb and cover.
Do you need to love someone to be happy? Does happiness mean a fairy tale ending?
Caden Riley challenged me from the first moment I met him. It was more than his good looks or his fame as a photographer that drew me to him. He offered me things that I never knew I wanted, and didn’t demand more than I was willing to give.
Was I happy? I’m not sure. Happiness is an emotion I’m unfamiliar with. But I finally knew what it felt like to experience real passion. To let go of all my inhibitions and surrender to my desires. It was enough for me, because it was more than I ever expected.
Until Caden tempted me with possibilities. The possibility of a future; the possibility of a life I never imagined; the possibility of heartbreak and never hearing the words “I love you.”
Love is a funny thing. It can make you feel like the world is yours to conquer. It can also bring you to your knees. I’m not sure which is my fate.
- My new book, an adult contemporary romance, is slated to release early January 2013, with a chance of it releasing earlier. It’s called Fated and if you liked Love Left Behind, it’ll be right up your alley. The hero, Caden Riley, is hot, but in a different way than Jackson Reynard. Plus, I really love the heroine, Lauren Sloan. I’ll post the cover and description and all that junk when it’s ready.
- I’m knee-deep in the third and final installment of the Shadow Series right now, and boy these waters are treacherous! My own heart has raced a few times, and that’s with me knowing what’s going to happen! I still don’t have an exact release date except early 2013, but I’m pushing, pushing, pushing to get it done as soon as possible.
- If you’ve read some of my posts here, you’ll realize that I’m obsessed with food. My latest obsession, after my trip to New Orleans, is trying to recreate the muffaletta. The one at Central Grocery was a doozy, and I’m up to my elbows in olive salad as I try to perfect my recipe to mimic theirs.
- Speaking about food, Thanksgiving is right around the corner! It’s my #1 favorite holiday. Turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing…here I come!
Hello out there! I hope everyone who was affected by Hurricane Sandy is safe! She hit us pretty hard, but we’re all okay. We’re still without power and the internet, which has basically made me into a crazy person since I hate not being connected. That, plus the tree currently making itself at home on my roof, has made the past few days a little trying. But we’re lucky compared to so many others, so I’m grateful that those are our only problems.
Thanks for everyone’s comments/messages these past few days. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to respond, but it’s been a hassle trying to find a wifi signal to grab onto (you should see the Starbucks in the town next to me…it’s been overrun by squatters). Thanks to the good people at Lowe’s who have unknowingly lent me their wifi signal for a few moments.
I’ll respond to everyone’s messages once I return to the twenty-first century. For anyone who was in the path of Hurricane Sandy, I hope you’re safe and well.
P.S. I really should have stocked up on vodka and potato chips.
